David C. Boydell, CFP

Since inception in May 2006, Mr. Boydell has been co-manager of Sonoma Ridge Partners, LLC. His duties include fund management, chief financial officer, and director of investor relations. Mr. Boydell oversees all cash flow and banking operations, business development, final loan approval, and marketing efforts of the fund. Fully understanding that relationship building is the hallmark to long term business viability, Mr. Boydell champions himself on borrower and investor first priorities and transparency; “only when our borrowers and investors succeed first, will we succeed as a company”.

Prior to his work with Sonoma Ridge Partners, LLC Mr. Boydell worked with high net worth individuals and small business developing financial strategies in financial asset management, debt restructuring, estate and capital preservation techniques, individual and group pension planning, and planned charitable giving. Prior to this experience he worked with small businesses developing business strategies and business plan modeling for entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay area. In addition, he earned his National Futures Association Series 3 license and worked with high net worth investors developing options and futures strategies in the commodity and currency foreign exchange markets.

Mr. Boydell has held a California Real Estate Brokers license since 2003 and has assisted clients with debt restructuring and business planning in both the residential and commercial real estate markets. He has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 1996 (formerly The Institute of Certified Financial Planners) and the National Association of Life Underwriters since 1993. Mr. Boydell is a Series 7 and 63 licensed registered representative of Mid Atlantic Capital Corp., member FINRA/SIPC. He offers financial advice through Mid Atlantic Financial Management, Inc, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor.

Mr. Boydell earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and General Business at the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona in 1977. He also received his Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) from the College of Financial Planning, Devner, Colorado in 1996. Mr. Boydell resides in Sonoma, California with his wife Kelly and two young boys. He enjoys coaching Little league Baseball, golf, and has an FAA private pilot certification.
