M. Eric Boorom

Mr. Boorom is co-manager of Sonoma Ridge Partners, LLC (Fund). He is responsible for critical elements of the Fund's investment strategy. These duties include maintaining consistent transaction flow for the Fund by identifying and screening requests for loans that meet the Fund's investment criteria. Mr. Boorom will be responsible for the loan review and underwriting process, with a particular focus on detailed due diligence, loan structuring and Borrower relations.

Prior to his engagement with the Fund Mr. Boorom founded Worth Capital, LLC. Worth Capital is a boutique financial services firm, which serves as a business resource to middle market companies with annual revenues of $5.0mm to $100.0mm. Worth Capital provides essential resources shareholders and management need to navigate the treacherous financial waters of steady, growing and declining economies. Worth Capital has served numerous middle market companies in the area of Corporate Renewal, Recapitalizations, Mergers and Acquisitions and Turnarounds. Prior to founding Worth Capital Mr. Boorom held positions at Shane Group Capital Corporation, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and ABN-AMRO/LaSalle National Bank. Throughout Mr. Boorom's professional history his responsibilities have included debt recapitalization, operational reengineering, turnaround financing, workout and bankruptcy transactions, real estate financing, enterprise value transactions (cash-flow based financing), mergers, acquisitions, cross-border financing and the issuance/procurement of subordinated debt, bonds and equity.

Throughout numerous Worth Capital engagements, Mr. Boorom has held various management positions including CEO, CFO and CRO (Chief Restructuring Officer). In addition, Mr. Boorom has provided financial advisory services in bankruptcy transactions including Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases. Efforts have concentrated on leading negotiations with numerous senior secured and unsecured creditors, focused on negotiated settlements in conjunction with recapitalization efforts and financial restructurings. In addition, Mr. Boorom has provided expert testimonial on business valuations and marketability in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Mr. Boorom is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMS), Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR), Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (ACTP), INSOL International and The Seaplanes Pilot Association. Additionally, Mr. Boorom holds a Private Pilots Certification for Land and Sea.

Mr. Boorom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University. Mr. Boorom is also a graduate of ABN AMRO North American Credit Training Program and has completed additional studies in accounting, international economics, financial engineering, law and strategic management.
